Babar Latif Born on 22nd January in musical family delhi india, Babar Latif is son of renowned Tabla meastro Late Ustad Latif Ahmed Khan, He hails from the prestigious lineage of the Dilli Gharana, he's initiated in the art of Tabla playing by his legendary father, He latter continued his training from Doyen of Delhi Gharana late Ustad Munnu Khan Sahib,

Ustad Munnu Khan saheb was 6th generation of first tabla player of Delhi Gharana ustad sudhar Khan saheb, which is very fortunate thing for Babar Latif,

Babar Latif belong to vocal Delhi Gharana aswell from his maternal side his mother begaum khursheed Latif was grand daughter of Ustad Chand Khan Sahib doyen of vocal Delhi Gharana,

Babar Latif is 5th generation of his traditional musical family, Babar Latif has been serving of music since his childhood, he never ever left his tradition,

Babar Latif is one of the most accomplished and distinctive tabla player with a reputation for technical virtuosity, spontaneity, clarity of tone, and sensitivity to melodic nuances,
